Description

πŸ“Ÿ Bring real 90s pager culture to your FiveM server.

RS 90s Beeper is not a reskinned radio or mini smartphone. It is a purpose-built asynchronous paging network designed for authentic 1990s RP. Players receive short numeric or alphanumeric pages, read callback numbers and instructions, and then continue the interaction through your payphone, landline, radio, meeting point, job, gang or other RP systems.

The device itself stays intentionally simple. Behind it is a flexible server-side API that lets phones, dispatch systems, police/EMS jobs, gangs, illegal activities, garages, businesses and custom resources send pages without becoming hard dependencies.

✨ Features

  • πŸ“Ÿ Authentic 90s-style pager / beeper UI

  • πŸ”’ Persistent pager number and capcode identity

  • πŸ“¨ 20-message default memory with read/unread state

  • πŸ”’ Lock important pages so memory rollover cannot delete them

  • πŸ“΄ Pages can queue while the pager is off, battery-dead, jammed or out of service

  • πŸ”‹ Battery simulation with replaceable/rechargeable battery item support

  • πŸ“Ά Signal bars, service loss and jammer integration APIs

  • πŸ”” Multiple pager tones with silent and vibrate preferences

  • 🧭 Draggable device position with persistent player UI preferences

  • πŸ–±οΈ Mouse, keyboard and physical pager-style controls

  • πŸ“š Configurable classic pager-code directory and optional code hints

  • πŸ’Ύ Persistent pager identity, inbox, power, battery and profile state

  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Page individual players, jobs, departments and duty-only groups

  • πŸ•΅οΈ Page framework gangs or hidden custom groups for illegal RP

  • πŸ“’ Citywide/broadcast paging support

  • ☎️ Built for payphone and callback-number RP

  • πŸš“ Dispatch and emergency-priority page support

  • πŸ”§ Generic exports for phones, radios, garages, businesses, missions and custom scripts

  • πŸ›‘οΈ Server-authoritative routing and message mutation

  • ⏱️ External resource rate limiting and bounded routing

  • πŸ”„ Shared RS communication-event support without creating a dependency chain

πŸ“ž Example RP flow

A player uses a payphone β†’ enters a pager number β†’ sends 911 with a callback number β†’ the recipient's beeper goes off β†’ they find a phone and call back.

Or a garage can page:

CAR READY
LS CUSTOMS
555-0142

A police dispatcher can page an on-duty department, an illegal mission can alert a hidden crew, and a business resource can page a customer when work is complete.

🧩 Framework support

  • Qbox

  • QBCore

  • ESX

  • Standalone

  • ox_inventory

  • Framework inventory fallback

  • Custom standalone inventory provider

  2. Add ensure rs-90sbeeper to your server configuration.

  3. Leave the pager item requirement disabled for a built-in pager, or enable it and merge one of the included inventory item examples for physical-device RP.

  4. Configure your pager numbering, battery, codebook, departments and UI preferences in config.lua.

  5. Connect your phone/payphone/dispatch/job scripts through the included server exports as desired.

Included install examples are provided for QBCore and ox_inventory.

❗ Important

This resource is a pager network, not a voice radio. It does not join pma-voice channels and does not replace your phone/payphone/radio system. Its purpose is to create asynchronous paging and callback RP that connects those systems together.

Same universal package for supported GTA V Legacy and Enhanced server environments where the listed framework/inventory providers are available. No separate Legacy/Enhanced build is required.

πŸ” License

Commercial RealitySucksRP resource. Purchase permits use and modification for the purchasing community's own FiveM server(s). Redistribution, resale, sublicensing or sharing of the resource is not permitted.
