Build it. Host it. Race it.
OPEN SOURCE
RS RaceBuilder is a complete FiveM race creation and multiplayer racing system built for server owners who want to design custom race environments directly in-game and immediately turn them into playable events.
Create the track setup, place racing scenes, build checkpoints, configure starting grids, host multiplayer sessions, track lap times, record personal bests and publish the finished race for your community.
🏁 VISUAL RACE BUILDER
Build your race directly inside the game world.
• Walk or Fly Camera while editing
• Search and browse racing props
• Preview objects before placing them
• Move and rotate objects with the interactive gizmo
• Snap objects to surfaces
• Drop objects to ground
• Stand objects upright
• Zoom directly to selected objects
• Delete individual pieces or complete scenes
• Undo and redo changes
• Automatic SQL persistence
• Large central world view while editing
The builder is designed to keep the race environment visible while you work instead of covering the entire game screen.
🏎️ COMPLETE RACE SCENE SYSTEM
Build full event environments using individual objects or complete scene presets.
Included race scene examples:
• Start / Finish areas
• Pit Service areas
• Pit Crew setups
• Spectator sections
• Sponsor gates
• Chicanes
• Track barriers
• Event equipment
• Race staging areas
Whole scenes can be previewed, positioned, rotated, placed and removed as a group.
📍 CHECKPOINT & ROUTE BUILDER
Turn your environment into an actual playable race.
Builders can:
• Create ordered checkpoints
• Reorder checkpoints
• Delete individual checkpoints
• Clear and rebuild routes
• Configure multiple laps
• Configure racer limits
• Define the starting grid
• Enable or disable hosted racing
Checkpoint progression is validated server-side to prevent skipped or out-of-order checkpoints.
🚦 STARTING GRID & COUNTDOWN
Create proper multiplayer race starts.
• Configurable start grid
• Multiple racer positions
• Vehicle placement at race start
• Pre-race freeze
• Synchronized countdown
• Synchronized GO release
• Driver and vehicle validation
Each racer is assigned a proper grid position before the race begins.
🏆 MULTIPLAYER RACE DIRECTOR
Players do not need builder permissions to race.
The public Race Director lets players:
• Browse published tracks
• Host a race
• Join open lobbies
• Ready up
• Start the session
• Leave the lobby
• View race results
• View personal best times
Editor permissions remain completely separate from public racer access.
⏱️ LAP TIMING & RESULTS
RaceBuilder now includes full race timing.
• Server-authoritative race start time
• Lap tracking
• Checkpoint progression
• Finish positions
• Official finish time
• DNF handling
• Death handling
• Disconnect handling
• Finish timeout
• Persistent personal best times
• Persistent race statistics
The client cannot simply report that it won.
The server decides when the required checkpoints and laps have actually been completed.
🔐 SERVER-AUTHORITATIVE RACING
Sensitive race logic is validated on the server.
RaceBuilder checks:
• Correct lobby
• Active race state
• Expected checkpoint
• Expected lap
• Server-visible player position
• Driver seat
• Player alive state
• Same vehicle used throughout the race
• Checkpoint sequence
• Race completion
• Official elapsed time
Out-of-order or invalid checkpoint attempts do not advance race progress.
💰 OPTIONAL ENTRY FEES & PRIZES
RaceBuilder includes optional race economy support.
Supported frameworks:
• Qbox
• QBCore
• ESX
Standalone servers can run free races without economy integration.
Economy features are disabled by default and can be enabled by the server owner.
Optional features include:
• Race entry fees
• Prize pool distribution
• Configurable podium payout percentages
• Server-authoritative money handling
No banking, inventory, fuel, keys or garage dependency is required for the race system.
🔧 PIT SERVICE
Add usable pit-service areas to your race builds.
Drivers can stop at an authored service station and repair their current vehicle.
The server validates:
• Station identity
• Driver seat
• Vehicle identity
• Network ownership
• Distance
• Movement
• Routing bucket
• Cooldown
• Player state
• Service token
Pit service does not automatically consume inventory items, fuel or money.
👥 PEDS & ANIMATIONS
Bring race environments to life.
Place:
• Pit crews
• Marshals
• Spectators
• Event workers
• GTA peds
Apply supported animations and poses and edit them later without rebuilding the scene.
💾 PERSISTENT PROJECTS
Race projects are stored in SQL.
Persistent data includes:
• Project state
• Objects
• Scenes
• Transforms
• Ped animations
• Checkpoints
• Race configuration
• Published state
• Race records
• Personal best times
RaceBuilder uses revision and editor-lock protection to reduce conflicting edits.
🌐 LIVE PUBLISHING
Publish race projects to connected players.
Published environments are distributed using saved project state so late-joining players can receive the current race environment when they enter the area.
RaceBuilder also prevents a published project from being taken down while an active race or countdown is using it.
🎨 PREMIUM RACING UI
Includes a custom racing interface built specifically for RS RaceBuilder.
Features include:
• Motorsport-inspired UI
• Racing artwork carousel
• Guided build workflow
• Searchable catalogs
• Selected-item inspector
• Scene browser
• Placed-item browser
• Race Setup panel
• Race Director panel
• Project controls

IMPORTANT
RaceBuilder uses GTA/FiveM world assets and collision behavior. Server owners should test custom courses in-game before opening them to players, especially dense tracks, high-speed sections and GTAV Enhanced environments.
